Hi Mario,

I have used the "apn_on_rails" gem for pushing the notifications from my rails application. I have done all the migrations regarding the apn_on_rails gem. But I am getting confused while getting the certificate for apn.

So, my question is, Can we generate the certificate from the rails application or we need to get a seperate software for getting the certificate.If so, please guide me.I have used the configatron gem too but it is throwing an error that configatron is already in use.

I am using ruby 1.8.7 and rails 2.3.11.Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks man, you saved a few hours of search and tests =)
I've used (in a specific way) like this:

contents.where("contents.contentable_type = 'Article'").scoped.merge(Article.send(options[:scope])).all(:joins => "INNER JOIN articles ON (articles.id = contents.contentable_id)").map(&:contentable)

and it seems to work fine.

You understand the difference between websites and web applications, and you want to write apps that matter for people that care about them.

I'd say we've been using the term for closer to 18 months, but formalised Mark Hale as our DEVOPS Manager about 6 months ago. I'm conflicted, because think that as a term it's being overused (it's the new "silo") but it also better represents what our operations team does, and acknowledges their development background and influences.
